NFT Area Manager
Frequently Asked Questions
We’d like to be as close as possible to our customers. For this reason we’re relying on area managers to look after them, to provide support if needed, to organize professional repairs if needed, as well as to contribute to our growth. For fulfilling these microtasks on demand, each area manager will be compensated with a 5% commission on every sale from his area for all modules, as well as a monthly recurring 5% commission on marketplace sales.
In cooperation with Gamechangers.ai we’re issuing 5,000 NFT-based area manager licenses – called “Non-Fungible License Tokens (NFLTs)” for all cities (and a few very small countries) with a population of more than 100,000 people. As an area manager license holder, these potential customers – as well as any sale that occurs closest to your license’s location – are “yours”.
Let’s say you hold the 5% commission area manager license for San Francisco with a population of 875,000. In a worst-case-scenario with a conversion rate of only 0.1% in that area over the next 3 years, and an average shopping cart value of $15,000, you would bank $656,250 (+ additional closest distance sales and marketplace commissions).
NFT stands for “Non-Fungible Token”. Unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, NFTs are unique and represent (in this case) certain certificates on the blockchain. And the blockchain is immutable, which means if you hold the area manager license for a certain area, you and only you will receive the commissions.
Gamechangers is introducing a new type of NFTs, called Non-Fungible License Tokens (NFLTs), which simplify the management and transfer of licenses. NFLTs are tradable like any other NFT on any common NFT marketplace.
We believe NFLTs are a great and fast way to on- and offboard area managers. Instead of relying on expensive, time consuming, notary-driven and thus binding long-term contracts, we’re creating smart contracts on the blockchain. If you believe in modular.farms just as much as we do, then we’re happy to welcome you on board and share the profits. If you change your mind, you just sell your NFLT with all its rights, and the next area manager will be happy to take over. It’s as simple as that and there are no strings attached.
- If needed, you have to provide support. If you don’t find the answer to a question on our homepage, just ask our global support team.
- If needed, you have to organize professional repairs – due to our quality management this should almost never happen.
- If there was a complaint against a single “modular farmer” offering his produce on our marketplace, you have to enforce and supervise some quality management. This should also be a very rare case since we can assume that our farmers will do anything to not risk exclusion from the marketplace.
- Optional: Since you will most probably want to increase your commissions, you’re free to help spread the word, do some local marketing, contact local newspapers and radio stations, host or be a speaker at events, etc.
Once you purchased your NFLT, please contact us, so we know who you are, where to send the commissions to, and provide you with the desired area (if still available).
